Gita Gopinath is a professor at the economics department of Harvard University. Gopinath lives in Weston, Massachusetts, with her husband and son. == Education == Gopinath holds a B.A. from Lady Shriram College, University of Delhi (1992), M.A. from the Delhi School of Economics (1994). She completed her M.A. from the University of Washington (1996). In 2001, she completed her Ph.D from Princeton University, under the mentorship of Ben Bernanke (former chairman of the Federal Reserve) and Kenneth Rogoff (a former director of research at the International Monetary Fund).
